Arboleas is a village and municipality in the district Valle de Almanzora in the province of Almería.
The municipality of Arboleas has a population of 4731 inhabitants and the village itself has 941 inhabitants many of which are British.
The economy of Arboleas used to rely on agriculture and goat farming, but in recent years the construction industry has experienced a phenomenal growth and many construction related companies have been established in the Arboleas area.
The village of Arboleas is about 30-35 km from the beach and property prices in Arboleas are therefore lower than other coastal villages in Almería.
