About this property
According to the Council’s record this house was built between the XVII or XVIII centuries. The property was called “De Dalt”. During the XVIII century it was owned by Juan Bautista Bellón y Mabylli a local authority in charge of the Land Sea Consulate of Alicante. The “Bellón” family was originally from France and settled in the Muchamiel area around the XVII century. The orchards surrounding the house were mainly planted with olive and orange trees. Seller has taken what were originally seven very small bedrooms, which the house had when was sold in 1984, and turned them into three bed rooms upstairs. The room where the hay was kept for the animals is now office room~~Some of the antique horse harness still exists and also the original wells inside and outside~~Half of the original house was for the "caseros" (the farm help) and the main part of the house was for the family. In renovations, owner has united both areas. There is original fireplace that the workers used for all their meals, probably giant paellas. The house still features the original machinery and presses used to elaborate olive oil. These are the only pieces existing in the state and are of extreme historical value.~~The machinery dates back to the beginning of the XX century and was manufactured in Alcoy.~~There is also a little chapel that has become part of museum of actual owner ( shoe museum).~~We are including the actual Spanish history report that explains the architectural designs of the windows , etc. and gives you the signed papers from our my local town hall.
